2016年12月22日 · With the Ford Coolant you always want to see No Nitrites present. You don't have to buy a special test kit to check for nitrites. All Ford engines prior to the 6.7L engine had some nitrites in their coolant. The 6.7L engine was the first engine Ford produced that uses Carboxylates as the main corrosion inhibtor and the two don't mix.
