No slaves ever entered the port of Liverpool. Where are your facts? I studied this subject for years and understand the Triangular Trade that took place. This is wilfully misleading and lies.

He was stating that there wasn’t any slaves leaving Liverpool in ships which is totally correct. The ships sailed to Africa and that’s where the ship owners conducted their exchange of goods for slaves. The African leaders were the African slave owners who wanted cotton, tobacco, sugar etc. once the exchange was done the slaves were then property of the British ship owners who went to the Americas and sold them for tobacco, sugar etc. the triangle trade thus continued.
Entry is free. The Slavery Museum upstairs is in the same building as the Maritime Museum. There is a lift and cafe as well. Hope this helps. Regards Charles
