To be honest, I wasn't expecting much......a beach and a couple of seals. Was I wrong ! The nature reserve is well sign posted and organised into a one-way system, handy given how narrow the rural … Wakefield61的完整评论

I don’t believe they are in any danger to be honest. I’m curious to ask why you would ask this question? Unless you mean are they a danger to spectators? There’s a meshed fence along the whole length of Donna Nook and most seals are 5+ meters away from the fence but you do get pups alongside it after birth. I’d encourage children not to put their fingers through the fence as there’s always a chance of bites. There’s a small building on the seafront belonging to the Wildlife Trust and there’s representatives along the length of the trail that keep an eye out on the seals and spectators. Hope this answers your question Dave

We have been going to Donna book 7 years to visit the seals. If you park in the designated disabled car park, there is a wooden walk way with ramps then onto the pathway to the seals. It is quite uneven but I have seen all ages in disabled scooters as well as others pushing buggies
Sorry; only just seen your question. I'm sure it is open, but I wouldn't expect to see many seals if any at all. I believe the seals head back to sea latest end of Dec / early Jan.
