Hi, there are not a lot of cabs in Sawantwadi, Trakarli area. I am not sure what is the means you are looking at, if it is cab then you have to book in advance. Local people double up as drivers of their private cars and prefer cash payment. We had booked a car for 2 days, at our service anytime we want and paid him @ 1200 per day. He took us around Tarkali and then dropped us to the railway station on day2.. However, Trakarli is around 31km from Sawantwadi and there are regular bus services that take about an hour. Auto rickshaw is also a very good option and is available every where, if your in-laws and daughter are comfortable travelling in auto, take one, you will have flexibility of time. Trust this helps.
