Shows and presentations at the Paco Park are not as structured as they used to be, so you will have to check with their Admin Office for show schedules. Sorry I could not say more.
Yes it's safe. You might feel uncomfortable at night but it's still safe. There are some people that camp there at night they are nothing to be afraid of.
