Ruins of crusader castle are bigger and more intact that you might think. Museum was closed when we were there, which was disappointing. Probably best to get a guide, but not necessary to poke around… MMZurich的完整评论
Can one do both Jerash and Kerak castle as a day trip from Amman? At what time should one start in the morning? Are they near each other?

From memory Jerash and Kerak are in different directions from Amman. Jerash is probably the most extensive site to see other than Petra in Jordan. I would allow plenty of time here. It …
From memory Jerash and Kerak are in different directions from Amman. Jerash is probably the most extensive site to see other than Petra in Jordan. I would allow plenty of time here. It isn't far from Amman but largely depends on traffic. We visited Kerak on our way to the Dead Sea so I wasn't really aware of the distance we travelled. Hope this helps in some small way.
