Sorry to be so late in responding as I was on vacation. I always wear slacks because of the scrambles and sometimes "off road" trails through brambles. Besides I don't like little critters jumping at me from the grasses, meaning chiggers!
I'm trying to decide which part of the trail to do. I have a son who is 4. We do a lot of hiking in west at a variety of national parks but nothing with jumping from large rocks. He can go probably 4 miles. Input and thoughts on this trail?

Thanks everyone. We did it last weekend. The rock wall had my husband and I helping my son but other than that. We were good and we had a blast.
