Beautiful place and the stones are magical, however the parking is a complete shambles and not cheap providing a very poor initial experience on visiting what is a popular tourist site. There was on… G5301GGrichardw的完整评论

A fascinating place with a magical, somewhat eerie feeling about it. There seemed to be huge stones everywhere! It is a very impressive place. There is a pub, a few shops & a visitors center. Paul Q的完整评论

This really is an amazing place to visit. The stones can be seen on the approach road to the car park but the main circles are so much larger - in fact they're enormous. We arrived just before 1pm a… annsU7132AZ的完整评论
Hi, I'm travelling up on my scooter from Bournemouth, on the way to Cardiff , I'm staying near by for one night and wondered if I will see much via scooter, not just of the stones but other sights Thanks...this will be my 1st trip alone by bike so I'd like to see as much as possible on my travels as I'm a keen photographer

Take time out of your journey, maybe install an overnight stop. You can then see everything, and a scooter is perfect.
How much time should I allow to visit the most of the sites; the museum (some refer to it as the visitor center or interpretive center), the several hills and mounds, and the several stone circles and spirals? Is four hours ample time?

Four hours is plenty and probably includes time for coffee. If you’re visiting by car then split it into two, firstly park in the NT car park and visit the main circle, museum and ideally the manor house (book ahead or as soon as you arrive). Then coffee / snack in the cafe or Red Lion. Then move the car to the Silbury Hill car park, followed by a walk to West Kennet Long Barrow. If you have any time left over then you can visit Devil’s Den (remains if a burial feature) or Fyfield Down (Sarcen stones all over the hillside). Enjoy your visit, it’s fantastic
