The Department of Emergency Services of Buncombe County takes pride in serving the needs of the citizens and visitors of our county. Our many roles include emergency communications via our 911 call center, pre-hospital emergency care from our paramedic EMS service, fire and life safety from the fire marshal's office, disaster coordination in the emergency management division, & training and development classes for county personnel.
