This home is nothing special, but is nice if you want to learn about the Antebellum history. The home is smaller than I was expected, and you watch a short film before you go into the house. There ar… Tara L的完整评论

Can you rent this house for Birthday celebrations?
答:
there is a party room that is very nice in the back of the house. No one can eat in the historic house itself but the party room is old and looks very nice.
Is the house handicap accessible? When are meals served, and do you need reservations?

Hi! As far as I can tell, Arlington is not FULLY handicapped accessible, as there is an upstairs. There may be a hidden elevator that I don't know about, but the house was built well before elevators, so there may not be one. I think the downstairs has a ramp to get in, but I can't recall for sure. The phone number there is (205) 780-5656. As to the food... normally the only food is done when ladies' clubs hire the facility for a meeting or the like. However, I think I have heard of teas or luncheons occasionally being held there that are more for the public, and I think you can reserve a spot on those. Do call and ask! Thanks. :)
